SP7K · Backup & Archive, now intelligent

Your backup workload, now intelligent

The job doesn't change; the capability does. Backup runs exactly as it does today — certified for the applications teams already use — but on GateStor's virtual memory map (VMP), where every archive is AI-addressable in place. An AI application can run inference directly against a ten-year-old backup with no export and no second copy; a data scientist can build and train models from it without ever touching the production workload. None of that is possible on traditional IT infrastructure, where a backup is an inert copy you'd first have to move. You are no longer getting ready for AI — you are in AI.

We're finalizing the deep-dive for Backup & Archive on the platform. The short version: your backup applications keep running unchanged — the workload doesn't change, the capability does. Once the archives sit on the AI-addressable memory map, AI applications run inference against them in place and data scientists train models from them without touching production. The same backups that served the information age are now live to AI, with no re-migration the day you decide to use them.

The same backups. Now in AI.

Backup runs the way it always has — but on a platform where every archive is already AI-addressable, so there's nothing left to migrate the day you decide to use it.
